How to connect Nairoo and GetYourGuide

Nairoo offers live integration with OTAs such as GetYourGuide

  • A live integration is a direct connection to a sales channel. When a traveller is looking at your products on an online travel agencies' (OTAs') website, such as GetYourGuide.com, their website will display availability directly from your Nairoo account.

    When a booking is created on the OTAs website, the booking information will be sent to your Nairoo account, updating the availability of all your connected channels automatically.

    Please note, in order for you to connect to GYG, you need to be on a Nairoo subscribed user. 

  • How to set up the connection in Nairoo

    Connection to GetYourGuide is a two-step process. In the first step, or account level connection, the live integration is established with a simple Marketplace contractless connection and in the second step, your experiences are manually connected at the product level for travellers to book on GetYourGuide’s website. 

  • First Step: Quick API Integration

    From your Nairoo Channel Manager, go to OTAs Tab.


    1. Find the GetYourGuide business card.

    2. Click into GetYourGuide card to reveal the connection pop-up window

    3. Click the Allow GetYourGuide to book my experiences link

    4. Your account’s live integration will be successfully connected, and you’ll land on the Instructions tab with step-by-step directions on what to do to prepare for the second step of manually connecting at the experience level 


    ✴️ Login and link your account now - Click to be directed to the GYG supplier log in portal where you can begin to manually connect your active products.


    The Channel settings tab allows you to fine tune the integration.

    • Enter the commission rate you have with GetYourGuide

      • This number is used to calculate Bókun reports. This setting does not affect your payout from GetYourGuide in any way.

    • Please note that the Allow GetYourGuide to book my experiences link defaults all your current and future products that GetYourGuide will have access to book.

      • If you want to select specific experiences, disable the toggle to open a list of all your experiences, untick the ones you don’t want sold on GetYourGuide and Save.

    • Select a price catalog

      • If you use only the default price catalog, the option to choose will not appear.

      • Your reports in Nairoo will be based on the price catalog. This does not override prices you have negotiated with GetYourGuide.


    ✴️ Price over API is automatically enabled on Nairoo side by default, but does not take effect, unless and until your experiences are mapped to Availability and Pricing on GetYourGuide side.


    • If you are using Price over API, prices will override what you have in GetYourGuide, and we recommend using a dedicated price catalog specifically for this purpose.

  • How to connect your products on GYG

    Log into your GYG Supply Portal account and connect the products.


    • On the Home page, please click Manage Products

    • Choose the activity you would like to connect by clicking into it..

    • Chose Edit option (as all connections are happening on tour option level)

    • Select Connectivity Settings

    • Do you use an online reservation system?

      • Click the radio button Yes, I use a reservation system (1).

      • Select Bókun from the drop-down menu (2).

      • Select the External product ID from the drop-down. For Bókun, this is the product title, product ID and rate ID (3).

      • Continue to save (4).
